Default Got my Spirit!

So my Spirit arrived last friday after work and so far, I'm liking the ease of setup.

I still am awaiting a tail servo and ESC programmer, so can't try its flight characteristics out yet, so have been dabbling with setup slowly.

I plan to run Gov from within the Spirit, so I have my HW 60A V4 main lead plugged into the Aux port and the single RPM lead plugged into the Ele/Pit/Ail port with the lead physically connected to the Pit pin. From what I've read, I should be good here.

With the Tx endpoints having been set to give me 0 - 100 on all channels in the Diagnostic screen, I was just about to set up the Gov feature in the Spirit software. The min/max throttle range is set to 1100µs and 1940µs, but I can't seem to track down the Throttle Frequency spec on the HW V4 platinum ESC's. Am I safe to set it to 200Hz?

Also, is 3 Seconds an ok setting for Autorotation Bailout? Thoughts on that?

If you're talking about spool up, should be okay for a 360 size heli (HW60 suggests something that size). Play with it without blades and see how you feel about it. Dan

Hey, I was referring to the first setting seen here:

According to this thread, 120Hz seems to be the consensus, but running at 200Hz won't hurt, per Tomas.

I was answering about your auto rotation bailout speed. As far as ESC freq, 60 is a bit slow for response. 120-200 will be fine. Dan
