Default great Mielke Tuned Pipe

Just received the pipe from DDM. Only $135 USD during Black Friday sale.
http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.88...t.A/id.9277/.f

Preliminary fitting observations:
It will be a perfect fit for gassers with exhaust port on the right (1st pic), i.e. spark plug pointing toward tail.

For ones with exhaust port on left, you'll have to live with the stinger pointing upward (2nd attached pic)

Also need to make custom straps to secure pipe to frame.

I liked it so much, ordered another one for backup. Or maybe I can replace Torpedo V5 in my TBug 600 with this pipe.

I couldn't find specs for the pipe. It seems no manufacturers listed spec for any of their pipes.

It was designed for cars/buggy; and people tend to run them wildly up & down the range. So I assumed it should be OK.
Well, even if it reduced power a little bit in the range we ran helicopter with, I can live with that in exchange for lower noise...but if it drastically reduced power, then I will swap it out.

I did the same for my Baja. Used an X-Can with 2 DDM silencers on a G290RC. Even though it can't do wheelie, power is more than enough for me. Having a hard time keeping it in a straight line and it can do donuts all day.

Keen to hear how that pipe works out.

Can ou put a gyro in your Baja to help keep it in a straight line?
