Here is how I have the equipment mounted. All stock equipment with Futaba R617FS receiver. No wires were shortened.

My tail grips needed a bit more loctite, looked like they had something in there but barely. Otherwise all other parts were ok.

Very nicely done! Thanks for sharing.

I wish those Futaba FASST receivers has horizontal pins. It would make things a lot easier.

Thumbs up That's what I'm talking about!

Thanks kenny.c That's just what I wanted to see and where I'm planning on mounting everything. Is that the 6100 oe 6100e? Also did you shorten any of the servo wires? Looks great!

Looks like I can see a servo connector laying horizontally through one of the wholes cut in the frame, so it's probably a 6100E. I almost always use 6100E's because like Steph said, it really does making the wiring less of a hassle.

Hi

Thanks for the comments guys.......balance wise with my 83g lipo its perfect! Im not sure how you could move the weight around if the pack was much lighter to be honest....?

Below is the heli hanging off the flybar using locking wire......its pretty well balanced

Im using a 6100e reciever......just because thats what I had spare.

But ive seen this picture using a 6100....it has the effect of moving the weight forward if your using a lighter lipo...

maybe a 200 with the motor mounted up higher. hmmmm seems like all the weight on the bottom would make it harder to flip, which is a problem with these little guys. V2/250 ?

i got a quick question. i was lookin at the manual posted, and it says you need CA glue. now instead of CA glue can you use superglue instead or is CA different kind of glue than superglue?

it's not in the kit is it?

CA = Cyanoacrylate so if it shows that on the label then its CA.

There are different viscocitys of CA, thin, medium, and thick. Superglue is usually medium or thick.

one question guys.

I see the main head is already assembled from factory, all guys says that we have to check if the screws have thread lock, but do you recomend to disassemble all and restart to build from 0?
or if it's everything ok how can I check if one screw has thread lock without being removed?

You can't; Just take one screw out, clean it, Put some LT on it, and put it back in. Will take no more then 15 minuts, and gives you some familiarity with it. Just don't overtork it, no need to. Best of luck!
