Hey whats up? That tail servo is fine, and is not too slow. First of all, the way your throttle curve is you might as well move point three up too 100 or move all the other points to 95 if you want a lower headspeed, the way that curve is, thats enough to cause some tail problems. Also, just use rate mode to set your hover tail blade pitch, do not fly in that mode. The last and probably the most important thing...I believe the ball link on your tail servo horn is way too far out. You should probably have it from anywhere between 8-10 mil and no more than 12 mil from center. I have heard that logos have very good tail authority. Unfortunately I have no experience with setting up logos or the spartan gyro, you will probably receive better help in the logo section of this forum. But you can try the things I have mentioned for a start.

Yeah 14mm is too far out. Move it in and post your results.

If rate mode is 63% (rather high), what is your HH gain?

Also your blue led should not be blinking which indicates that the gyro did not calibrate correctly. To fly you should either have a solid light in HH mode or no light if you want to fly in rate.

Another thing i'm not sure is causing your problem but may be of some concern for flying is the tail servo. The 9257 is a mini servo and a Logo500 should be using a standard sized tail servo like the 9254, 9256, BLS251, or JR8900G.

Your servo arm spacing is fine at 14mm.

No offense but please don't follow Nutsinbolts27's advice as I feel it is misinformed and admits he has no experience with either the heli or gyro. I have a Logo5003d that had a spartan on it before moving to vbar. 14mm is the suggested distance from Mikado

Go for the Futaba BLS251 or JR 8900G. Both are great servos.
