Default Clearview sim sound editing possible??

I'm trying to mod this sim (yes, I OWN it legally ) for better sounds...namely, a better CRASH sound. I found some license-free crash sounds on the net and edited them. I replaced the crash1 and crash2 waves within the program files folder, but the default crash still sounds. My question is....can these sounds be edited....and if so, what am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated. The other sounds are marginal, but the "thump" sound when crashing is particularly annoying!! Thanks Helifreaks!!!

This question would be best answered in the Clearview forum:
