Anybody using a leveling tool for your swash plate on SJM180 and 430?

I don't think there is one that fits the 430 (not sure about the 180?). I actually emailed Trueblood Engineering a while ago to see if there was any chance that they might make one but I never received a reply. I'm not sure how many customers they would want to have before they felt that it was a worthwhile venture. Certainly would be great if somebody started making them.

i've seen one that has a variable shaft size option but dont know how well it works, it goes under the swash plate. Really wanted to get one from trueblood and try to machine the shaft hole to a 6mm, just not sure if would work...

Hi
To measure the swashplate I use a caliper directly on the balls and the chassis as reference. this is possible because unlike other helis, the chassis is horizontal on the 430 regards Marcel |
