Hey guys. I bought a spare motor for my 500. It's used, but with new sealed bearings in it. Everything seems cool with it, except for some movement in the shaft. It can move about a little less than 1mm vertically, and the whole rotor housing moves along with it. I compared it to my stock motor, and there is no movement at all on there.
I have taken the motor apart, and have the bearing that rides on the shaft out, and its the right dimension's. Haven't got to the next one yet, but hopefully tonight. I just want to verify that the bearings are the right dimensions so I can rule that out. Should there be any reason why the rotor housing and shaft could move besides possibly having the wrong sized bearing in on of the spots? Do any of you guys have any vertical movement in your shafts? Any idea's besides what I'm pusuing? Thanks fella's.
