Default Sticky pitch lever

OK, just getting my build finished up and my plastic pitch lever is sticky against the pitch slider ball. I've already rolled up some 600 grit sandpaper and tried to loosen it up which it did some but there's still more to go before it's completely free. What I was wondering how others have done this. Are you sanding the inside of the plastic lever like i'm doing or do you go after the ball, or is their some other trick method? All my Align ones have been sloppy so I always had to tighten them up and my Mikado was perfect out of the box.

Sticky where? Is it between the slider and the shaft? Try sanding (really polishing) the shaft.

No the shaft runs free. It's where the pitch slider ball inserts into the pitch contol lever. The ball is sticky against the plastic.

Default lever

I have seen a bent L bracket that the lever is attached to, if bent the action is crooked and it slides wrong. mine was like that.

I've checked the L bracket and it is fine. It actually still does it with the arm removed. I didn't have a chance to work on sanding it down yesterday, hopefully today.
