Default torque tube for 250?

If Gaui can do it, I'm sure Align can engineer something for this little guy. I'm not having any issues with the belt, but think that it would be a nice option for people like myself. Come on, I know you guys would buy it too .

No body likes little tiny beveled gears. They dont hold up.

I still remember all the probs my Hornets gave me.

I personally like the TTs on larger machines. But on something like the 250, I prefer the belt drive. I know that in the 3 months I've owned mine, I have crashed 3 times (2 from dumb thumbs) and each time the belt was fine. The main-gears on the other hand, don't fair so well. I've also hit the tail on the ground enough times to know that if I had tiny gears on there, they would've been gone!

Well, it's a performance part though. Not a beefening part.

when it comes to torque tube tails, it doesn't really matter what size the heli is. If you touch the tail or crash, the gears will probably get damaged. We all know this is an upgrade for performance and not durability. It would be nice to have the option like the Gaui 200 guys have. Those who want a belt can stay with the belt. Now whether or not Align thinks this would market well; who knows. But I know I'd buy one and the replacement parts.

I prefer a TT on ANY size heli.

If they make it, I will buy one.

I agree with gyronut. I still have night mares about the Hornet tail. As for me, regardless of the performance gains, when I get mine, it will stay belt drive. Word.

But this isn't a Hornet, it's a Trex. Align knows thier TT's well.
