I couldn't make either of those dates. I don't get out of school (teacher) until Thursday June 11. Might be nice having more vacation off than the averag career, but a teacher can not choose when to take off. But might be too much $$ for me anyway. I'll see what plays out.

haha that round trip would cost me only 120 bucks in gas on my harley but I don't know where I'm going to put my Protos 600 miles one way, most I ever did was 850 miles in a weekend but I had the Mrs. on the back. This is sounding interesting, I may consider just going for a camping trip.

It's good to hear some proposed dates though...the sooner those get locked in, the more likely we'll have people show up. Easier for people to plan ahead and be able to attend. Whichever dates it is, I'll be sure to free my calender!

...hmmm just thought about something...that many LIPOS in one place! If one were to gather them all, plus the chargers, I wonder how much consecutive flight time you could do! I wonder if there is a world record for most R/C Heliflights in one day!

We should think of some contests, in which E-Flite can throw in a few mcx / blade hopups / etc as prizes!! A raffle, with the winning ticket getting BNF Blade would also be an idea!

I just want you to know that my dad and I would be there ina heart beat if you were some where on the westcoast. the wife would never let spend that much extra on something that has to do with the heli. she already bitches when I spend $30 on a set of nice blades. I hope you guys have a great time.

dude that sux!...it just dawned on me if you leave in august you wont be around to go to "Heli Invasion" up in fredricksrurg in early october, the fisrt on was last year and they drew greats like Mike Mas, Curtis Youngblood, and Bert Kramer just to mention a few of the big ones, looks like its going to be one hell of a time, im hoping our little shindig may turn out to be something similar.

...try to see if you can find a way to email some of the big names and see if theyd be willing to show up, theyve got $$ and will no doubt draw a crowd....may be worth a shot?....makes me wish we had some sort of organized "club" already....would make planning this a bit easier for sure....

Sounds interesting Sokal...actually, it's a great idea....I'll have to wait and see how things are going in June to give a definite answer...but, this is something I would like to do for sure. Keep us posted.
