Default Just switched from futaba to dx7SE. Gyro help

%I got everything running. Auto sense gyro mode. Normal and stunt is set to 70% (aka 30% gain?). Anything higher and my tail wags. is this a normal setting for everyone? Am i correct in understanding anything under 50% is rate mode and above 50% is HH mode?

I have Gear/ Gyro and Aux2/ Inh. Using an AR6100 receiver.

Yes, under 50 is rate, over 50 is HH. (so long as that channel is not reversed).

70% would equal 40%, the value doesn't matter, only that the gyro performs as expected.

( 70 - 50 ) * 2 = 40

Edit - just noticed you have the DX7SE, and not the DX7, however the Gyro sense menu sounds the same based on your description.

thanks. new to this whole spektrum thing. The SE is exactly the same as the dx7 manual. Actually, they gave me a DX7 manual in the box with a SE flyer.
