Hi All,

Okay, I just was playing with the boys on the chat room. How about a 'girls' night??

I propose Friday night around 7pm EST?? Just a guess here.

Cheers,
Leslie

I'm in there almost every night talking with hammerfly and Buckey. My kids go to bed around 7:30-8:00 and that's when I spend time with my hobby and computer...atleast while my husband is deployed. When he gets back home, I'm sure we'll be chatting instead.

Hey Whiry-girl what branch is your husband in? And were is he deployed to? I just have special intrest in my fellow brothers in arms. I was over in Iraq back in 2003-04 but am no longer in the service due to injuries sustanded in my tour in Iraq.

He's a pilot in the Air Force. Usually, they only tell us generic terms of where they are like Base X or Base Y...or funny code names like "Club Med"...but I actually know where he is, just don't like to put it out in the open like this. He's in a relatively safe environment...not in Iraq.

Hopefully he'll be home in 3 or 4 weeks tops.

Hey, I'm from PA...just noticed you are too Blakhawkdoc. I was born and raised near Hermitage (1 hour north of Pitt, near the OH border).

I totally understand not wanting to tell me what his exact location is I was just wondering if he was in Iraq or Afganistand or some other country As for me being from PA I am a new transplant here. I moved here when I got out of the Army as this is were I was offered a good job. Its kind of funny though my dad grew up in Hershey PA joined the Navy and ended up in California were I was born and raised then I joined the Army and ended up were he was born and raised. Well I wish your husband a safe and speedy trip home.
