Default ESC Problem?

Hi, so my problem is, that when i spool up my 250 it will go good for about 15-20 seconds, then it will shut down and try and restart but wont ( it loses all power and acts like i just plugged the battery in). it also get really hot! is it bad or what is going on? it only has like 10 flights on it, no 3d just hovering.

thanks for the help.

The ESC is over heating.

Check if your belt is too tight first. If it's ok, look for any binding in the servos or links.

Did anything happen or did you change anything after the 10 flights you said were good?

I bought one of the first 500's when they came out and had a problem with it's ESC befor ever flying the machine. I contacted Assurance rc the north american distributor for Align and they sent a replacement ESC right away. You may have just gotten a bad unit.

hope this helps and good luck

Are you using the DS420 Tail servo? Those have been known to basically suck and overheat your esc. Be careful, some have fried theres. Try using a different tail servo
