Canopy fits too tight?

for some reason, with all the flashing trimed off, my canopy fits varry tight. I cant seem to figure out why. Is this a common problem to the x400? I trimed and altered the top to get clearance for the aloron linkage but the canopy mounts still flex becouse of the canopy pulling at them. I have thought of puting a trex can on but whould like to keep with the stock without cuting the crap out of it.

Is the bottom of the canopy hitting the landing gear? You could also try drilling the mounting holes further back to gain another 1/4".

Cool, a new canopy! I wonder if it is any larger, or just a different shape. I could never get my stock canopy to fit like I wanted it to, so I have always used the t-rex one instead. If you find out any information on it, please post it here.

I made mine fit by moving the mount arms forward and spreading them out a tiny bit ...
I mounted a servo arm in the normal canopy mount hole with a bolt and nut, and then screwed the canopy mount to the servo arm (rotated in towards the front).
Mine is the CCPM version.

The new canopy fits much better. Also it allows more space for battery and gyro

I found my binding point and working the plastic at the bottom to get 1/8" of space where it meets the skid strut. Just took rolling my fingers on it for a min or 2. Thank you for the input. For some reason the mail notice was going to bulk. lol thought no one had responded.
