Default Where are OS engines made?

Hey Guys

I'd like to know were OS engines are manufactured. I've done some searching....but with little to show for it.

Also, does anybody know of a offical site (Manufacture) for YS engines? Again, a google produces nothing solid.

I'm trying to decide who to go with. I'm really interested in the new Novarossi REX .91 but its not on the table yet.

Please let me know if you can help.

Take care Freak Brothers!!

As many other threads have stated, the OS vs YS comes down to personal preference.

Both will make very good power.

I prefer the YS as I like the regulated system and it's very consistent from start of tank to finish. Also, no worries about the corrosive muffler gases eating your clunk line or fuel magnent if you use one(highly recommend btw).

If you use the OS, just make sure to fill the tank right after your flight

Both OS and YS are made in Japan.

NovaRossi is made in Italy.

Fox is made in the US. Webra in Germany.

Most of the rest are made in China.

If your interested in an OS 91 C Spec with OMI Big Bore Carb and Cline Regulator. I have one that I will let go for a reasonable price. Also have a Hatori SB18 muffler for it. Will make you a good deal on both of them if your interested. I will be at the museum Friday morning. Let me know if your interested and I will bring them with me. email me at dharkey55 at bellsouth dot net. This would work nice in your 700. It is the pressurized fuel system same as YS uses.

OS bubble less clunk, works just about as well as the fuel mag, but no need to worry about exhaust gasses.
