Just posted a test eval / review of Gorilla Gear and Paddles. i dont usually do this kin of video but because so many people seem to like these I had to try them myself and share.

I really like the paddles as they are QUICK with the weights out. I will probably switch to black color though as I am not much for the bright colors. I used the lime green for video purposes. I will say this though you certainly can see these paddles in the air!!!!

I always liked the Shogun paddkes as I like how they attach with a grub screw and they were better than the stock paddles in my opinion. But now after flying these with the weights out I am going to stick with these for awhile. I may try to figure out how to tap them for a grub screw since I make my own flybars from music wire and they dont have threaded ends.

Those are like my old x-cell paddles. These are cool because you change the weight faster. :glasses:

not sure... I would bet they are about the same but the cord of the airfoil is longer and where the flybar attaches if more forward so they are quicker.
Trust me they are quicker!

the air foil is thicker, it gives you better control yet w/o weights it 's roll rate is Faster than stock...best of both worlds

I would kinda like info about its proformance, draw/heat/power Just a basic review like you did for the paddles. hyperion has a 22xx for trex size in a 4 and 6 turn and a think a review of the hyperion brand and how good it runs can help. Not much info out on that brand so its hard to compare. You are good at giving honest opinions on products.

No, I have decided I will not do that as yes this would not be good.
1) It wont save you much money
2) People can get hurt!

I am a newbie to RC and due to where I live, these videos are the closest human assistance I have to get me started in the hobby. With that said I would like to give a big hearted thank you to Bob for his devotion to the hobby and his fellow Heli pilots.

I have purchased a trex450x HDE and am going through the Heli to check things for set up. I was wondering if there is video that shows how to use a pich gauge. I know it should be an easy thing to do. But i am not getting the readings that I think I should. I am wondering if I am reading it wrong or missing something in the set up.
Thanks, Roy

Default Belt Tension Video?

First off I must say...like all the countless others, that you are good people......not to many I know of are even half as nice and kind and helpful as you are. To us "noobs"....your a godsend....and I know "thank you" hardly covers the way I wish I could thank you for all your time..effort...and knowledge you give to anybody who needs it.

The world would be a much better place if there were more people like you.

My question: I have looked all over and have seen a few comments about if there was going to be a video of how to adjust the belt tension on a 450se....I looked high and low and I cannot find it, and was just wondering if I missed it...or if you have not had the time to do one yet....

It would be MOST appreciated if you could let me know anytime soon where I missed it at...or if it has not been made yet....as all I have to do is install my BEC and receiver and Gyro and i'll be ready for my maiden flight ..(practically my first flight ever....besides some short hovers with a worn out Hornet 2)...oh yeah...and adjust my belt tension!!..LoL

Again.....thank you, more then these feeble words can convey

Maybe....just maybe if I was a poet...I could convey my many thanks eliquently enough with mere words

A NooB450se pilot
