Thanks for setting up the fund for Maresa by the way. Seems like the least we can do.

This goes back a few years to when i lived in Marietta Georgia. A customer that came into the hobby shop I worked at had a run in with his xcell pro graphite. It seams he had started it and was bumping the throttle while holding the main blade grips do to the motor had loaded up and he wanted to clear it. He let go of the main blades and as he did he thinks at the time his knee hit the throttle (he had the radio dangling from a neck strap). out of instinct he threw up his had to stop the tail from hitting him. When he did the tail rotor caught him in his palm and walked up his arm to past his bicep. It was somewhere around 200+ stitches to put him back together. He called himself an expert pilot before this all the time to people looking at buying heli's in the store.......... no video but it gave me a lot of respect for my eagle when i started it up.

Do you expect that the same ones saying it are the sames ones buying (and reading) them? I don't know any 30 or larger size RC modeler who calls their stuff a toy, even if they sometimes act like it.

This is slightly off-topic, and not very good video, but the audio is priceless.

Flying a helicopter is no different from riding a bicycle. It's just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes!

Wow, to add to all the dangers involved there, he was using a MHz transmitter. Could have easily gone haywire in a mall due to someone's rc car or down at Toys R us or something.

Thats an old video. Look at the Trex in it. It's the original gray framed Trex 450 from 2004. Thats is why he is using a FM radio. Spektrum or 2.4 was not out then!

Bob's correct - the operator (I'll suspend use of the term 'pilot') says it's 2005 at the start of the video.

I haven't seen this one posted yet. It just seems unnecessarily stupid and dangerous to me.
