Mode 1 to mode 2 (copterx)

Hi,
A workmate is looking at a 2nd hand copterx kit with a 7ch tx (mode 1).
Has anyone converted one of these units to mode 2? I am presuming you could just change the spring and then either cut and solder the opposite wires from the pots to the opposing side or is it as easy as changing plugs on the board? I've never seen one of these so dont know what to tell him. He doesn't want to buy if he cant change the mode.

If it is a prog Tx you could probably just change the spring and re program. Otherwise I'm not sure, bit of cutting and re-soldering would get there I suppose.

Just found the manual online, looks like you can change the program with the software. Thanks
