I just purchased a Super Tigre Lithium Polymer battery pack yesterday (2100mAh 15C 3s (11.1v)). I have a Blade 400 and am a beginning pilot, so I thought 15C would be enough current for a blade 400 (31.5A), especially given that the blade's ESC is only rated for 25 amps. I have tried using the Super Tigre battery, and the LVC on the ESC cuts in after about 1 minute of flight. I am only hovering - no 3d aerobatics here.
Is this a defective pack? After getting home I checked the pack voltage, and its around 11.5 volts. My e-flite 20c (2100mAh) pack lasts about 6-8 minutes the way I'm flying, and upon returning home has a voltage of around 10. I think this is a case of caveat emptor - I should have known it was too good to be true to get a pack for $39.99 compared with $59.99 for the e-flite. ![]() Depending on what you all think, I will probably go to the LHS tomorrow and ask for an exchange. I have all the paraphanalia for a refund/exchange |

I called hobby services, and they sent me a replacement pack. It flies fine! Great customer service. I will take the old pack apart and see if it's a loose wire, or a bad cell. Right now it's my test stand BEC battery.
