At first I was just going to have a text entry box to enter in a gear ratio. Turns out it's a big pain in the butt to get a keyboard to work properly on the iPhone. I went with the number of teeth because then you get an exact ratio even for ratios that would have repeating decimals (2 and 3 teeth instead of entering 0.6666667, for example). Would it be better to just have a ratio to two decimal places with the +/- adjust buttons?

The history can't be cleared, but it is limited to 100 items (drops the oldest when new are added).

The app should work with a first gen iPod Touch, based on the fact that Skype works on it. You just need a mic.

Hi, I just purchased this application and it downloaded to my pc, I synch pc to iphone and the application is missing. Am I missing something? What am I doing wrong?

do you have an ipod touch with no microphone?

did you buy via itunes application or some other way?

have you bought and installed any other apps successfully?

I dont have the ipod touch, I do have iphone 2g ver 2.1.. I bought it through itunes version 9.0 and paid 2 pounds something ( british pound). I installed a few applications before..

You need to install iPhone OS 3.0 or higher. The app uses some functionality that was added in that version of the OS.

There's a new version up which makes the nitro mode more reliable.

Just go click on Applications in the iTunes sidebar and click the update link below the app listing. iTunes will tell you all the apps that have updates available.
