Thinking about getting Vision 50 V2

Hey everyone,

I am thinking of getting a Vision 50 v2. Can you all help me make up my mind.

Do a search, on here and RR, you will find many threads listing many problem people are having during the building process. Of course, you will find many people defending Ely. Most noteable one is a member over there in RR that seems to have registered just to defend Ely. All the post he ever made (35) were defending Ely. It does make me wonder if he was actually a Ely employee...

well all i am going to give it a try....found a guy selling a brand new v2 kit for 130....i think it is worth the risk for that amount of money and if i have problems with it i still have my raptor and century hawk to fly

I flew one for the first time over the weekend. Very nice and solid machine.

I'd be willing to get a 2nd one, but I'm concerned of the lack of parts availibility across the states. I believe www.rremodels.com is the only US store that still sells ELY.Q parts.

well i got my vision 50, put it together and crashed it...lol

it was not the helis fault it crashed. the ail servo lead came out of the receiver....and i was able to order my parts i need just before ready heli dropped ely q...will be back up and flying this weekend if weather allows it

ouch! i use the Spektrum AR6200 and AR6250 recivers and the leads are just jammed in there i cant see them falling out. i hope
