Very nice. Takes a real guy to fly that canopy proudly
Way to go.

I can't put my finger on it exactly but there is something really appealing about the colour scheme.

Yellow and black is a popular color scheme. It is used by a LOT of sports teams. My high school, and two collages all used those colors. (Kinda freaky actualy) I bet some art person could give you a reason why.

I think part of it for me is that the yellow theme is taken right through from front to back.

Just completed this one for a customer. He will be posting more once he receives it and has it mounted on the Heli. But this one was a lot of fun.

I still don't get it. I see beautiful canopies in this thread but if I had one - and I don't think I ever will because the skill and effort involved (which I admire in what youll have done) is just too much for me - I just would refuse to use it. As it is I am wondering what is going to go wrong and and induce the next crash. If I had a really tasty canopy I'd be 100% paranoid about crashing.

I will say though that I would like to get an aerosol and spray the windscreen yellow and the rest red.

That can work, a simple rattle can job can be fun. Another option: I painted it yellow then red from below for a blended look. Any two colors will work. Not fancy, but it looks different than other's heli.

Spruce up with a decal or something and clearcoat.

New heli, new canopy, new catgirl. Still a very simple paint job. Maybe someday?

The shape and that paint really reminds me of a tropical fish. Great job btw.

Did you paint the catgirl on there, or is that a sticker?
