where to buy a123's?

hey
I need to buy a few 10s1p a123's and a good charger new or used
who sells good quality ones?
or can i use 10s lipos
sorry im new to a123's and just bought a helicopter that was set up and flying 123 but it didnt come with batteries so was thinking it would be better to buy 123 since that is what it was flying before also so i only have to buy 3-4 to be able to fly continuously with a 10 min charger

The best charger for a 10s setup is probably a 1010b iCharger, but I like to charge with a Mastech PS. I would choose the PS just to cutout the need for an additional component (the charger).

If you post the heli and setup you just bought we may beable to make some suggestions of things to keep an eye out for.

ok I just bought a stretched logo 10 im still fairly new to heli's and very new to logo's (still waiting for the ups guy)

I will be this helicopters 3rd owner
first owner was flying with 10s1p a123 batteries as well as the second owner but the heli did not come with batteries so im wondering if i should stick with 123 or go lipo and if i go lipo what size do i need.

also any advice you guys might have for a new owner would be great
Im going to have set up a new transmitter and have no idea where to start with settings for a logo (tx/rx is a dx7)

The way take a look at the sticky in this section for more detailed information about charging A123's using a power supply.

If you feel safer using a charger this iCharger 1010B+ is a good chose.

Neu 1910-1.5y + CC45HV its classical combo for 10S1P A123 pack. If you want use lipo, than you need 8S pack to recieve the same (around) voltage. Personally i use ICharger 1010B+. He charge my 10S1P battery for 20 min with 7 amp current.

To buy single cell A123 battery for making 10S1P pack - look at Ebay.
