Sticky DS510?

I bought some used DS510's to go in a TREX 500 scale project. One of the servos is acting a little strange. It's operating slowly compared to the other two servos. It moves freely by hand when it's not powered. The odd thing is that it seems to return to normal after it's operated for a few cycles. Let it sit overnight and it slows down again. I'm guessing a sticky pot. Anyone see this before?

Your only option is to strip it down and see what going on inside

That's what I'll do. I've got spare gear sets, but I doubt that's the problem since it returns to normal after a few cycles.
