Default Is a mix like this possible on a dx7 ?

Looking for a different mix for my 600n heli.

I'd like to be able to flip a switch (leave on) it would'nt affect my throttle setting while in id1 , but when i click the throttle hold switch it would cut the engine.
(and if the switch was off and you used th hold it would act as normal)

Why you ask.

Well i want to get better at my auto's and the field i fly at is dirt. If i could have the engine off on the way down i could just set her down with little to no dust/dirt problems.

I realize that there's no bailing out , but i've never bailed out yet so its a non issue for me. My importtant issue is going to be injesting dirt into engine.

Possible on a dx7 ? or do i need a 9303 to do this ?

martin

You setup a throttle to throttle mix that cancels the throttle input and brings it to zero. That would cut off the engine... You assign that mix to a switch, and you would use it to cut your engine, otherwise use the throttle hold and you simply idle

You may be able to tweak Bob's setup to suit your needs.

Exactly! Why not just use the built in functionality to idle in HOLD and then if you want to bail on your auto for whatever reason you have the option.
