who's your daddy,

Someone may have said this to you already, but it looks like your motor is being marked by your wires?

Nothing should touch the can of the motor as it's spinning, it will eat through the wires, and that would be bad?

Nice looking heli but some green wire loom would set it off. The coil wrap clear stuff is distracting. Get some wire loom.

Is that a Voltmeter or battery minder on the left side, under what appears to be a receiver? If so, can I ask what brand or where to get it, cost etc.?
Very nice chopper!
Thanks

Shopping for the lowest price is a complete waste of flying time.

Well I finally got my baby all put together and chomping at the bit to get her in the air. But it's cold outside and wind whipping out of the north. So I decide to go out to the shop and hover. I didn't know how every thing was going to
act with the new KBDD paddles and orange dampers and tail blades. I set the scorpion motor up with a 11T pinon and
timing at 7.5 I'm hovering at about 2850rpm head speed and throttle % at about 85% and I can tell that this thing
has plenty of punch on demand if I want it. I didn't(forgot) to set my timer and flew until I felt like it was just about right
for the battery. Well I can't believe that I got exactly 9 minutes of HOVERING!! And still came down and battery was cool
and motor was cool and esc was also cool. But the lucky thing was is when I checked out my volt on the battery it
was 11.07 . Anyways here's the video just to prove it and it never went into slow down! It goes into slow down at
10.60. I Had to put 15% expo in. I'm very. very, very happy with the way everything turned out!!!!!!

Checking voltage at the end of a flight is an awful way to check if you're being hard on your batteries. 9 minutes of hovering at 2850rpm... you most likely overdischarged by a fair amount. You need to check how many mAh you put back into the batteries after a flight. If it's more than 80% of the battery's capacity, you'll puff them in no time.

I've always been.told that if you.can come down right at 11.1 that you are doing good.

You were reading 11.1v at rest. Under load (with the motor running) the voltage would actually be much less than that.

Thanks Gravey, you are right, but my heli never did go into slow down, which it does at 10.6 at rest.
