Default Anyone using the CY Mini G ?

I'm having some issues with my JR G770 which Horizon says will take about 2 weeks before I see it. So in the meantime I ordered a Mini G to try on my Outrage 550. Any experience and opinions for or against ?

Yes, works good, no issues.

If the Outrage 550 is a 500 sized heli, run on model B, otherwiese run on Model A

You will have fun the first time you set it up. IT is hard to get it to read the mid point on the radio. But once you get that, all will be well.

I thought it was me, but had a guy at a FF this weekend have the same issue.

If you can't get it, PM buzzinBRian, he works for CYE.

Actually, the 550 swings 550mm blades same as a .30 nitro compared to 425mm on a Trex 500. Thanks for the input and keep those opinions coming !

Yup I have one on my T700, piro rate is very consistent. It takes a bit to time to get it right, but once it's dialled, it's just as good as any top end gyros out there. I did find my reducing the end points quite a bit compared to other gyros.
Take your time to set it up on rate mode, makes a difference on my heli but not everyone.
