Default Latest Jazz + Mini Combo, READ!!

The newer Jazz controllers initialize faster than before,
a brand new Jazz which is in Airplane mode with auto-detect on throttle in combination with a Mini VBar AND if you skip the throttle channel endpoint calibrations under “2. TX Calibration” the combo will make your Jazz controller do a hot start, meaning it will spin up the motor without you touching the radio.

There is several ways to prevent this;

a) Make sure THROTTLE channel endpoints matches 100% in the radio, you need to press Expert button on the TX Calibration to see the throttle channel.
b) You can program mode 4 on your Jazz using another receiver.

If you are unsure, MAKE SURE YOU BACK OFF THE MOTOR DURING PROGRAMMING of the Jazz/Mini.

Once you have adjusted endpoints of the throttle channel or programmed mode 4 on the Jazz ,the issue is gone.
But please note, if you don’t adjust the endpoints, and do a reset (mode 1) on the jazz, it would result in a hot start next time you plug in the pack.

This issue is also a subject of what radio, Spektrum = 40% throttle roughly (how much the TX Calibration is off)

As far as I know this only affects the Jazz, not Jive.

This also occurs with the Hacker X-80 Opto Pro 3D. I discovered the solution before seeing this thread, solved it just as MrMel describes above.

Happened to me too. Luckily I didn't have the main blades on.
