Question AR6110E Problems... Brownout anyone?

I seem to be having brown-outs on my 450 pro. Another pilot friend of mine is also having problems. Just wanted to see if anyone out there has any glitches, brown outs, losses of power, any blinking lights on RX for no reason. Anyone notice that their GP750 gyro goes from green to red before or after?

ive also been having problems with my 6110E that i put in my Pro when i built it, it was suffering from random cyclic twitches, the motor would reduce power randomly for about a second. the light was never flashing after any of these incidents. I swapped it out for a 6100E and all has been fine since

I'm using the ar6110e on my Pro. No issue whatsoever. It actually links up faster than the ar6100. I dont think the receiver itself is the problem but the location of where you mount it.

mine is mounted on the outside of the frame.

I'm running the 6110e on my sport, mounted under the gyro tray. the only thing noticed was after spooling it up with no blades, on the bench to check for vibrations the receiver would be blinking. i never had lose of power or control. sense those three times i haven't had any problems. no it's only fair to mention i don't have much flight time but i did crash it three times 2 weeks ago and the receiver was not blinking after any of them, so i assume the receiver is not to blame.( just my poor flying)

I've been flying a 6110 (not the E) in my 450 SE without problems for about 2 months now, my elevator servo does twitch once in a while and I cant seem to trace it down but never a flashing reciever. I have it mounted on the rear of the floor plate with one antenna sticking straight back and the other protruding out the side of the heli right behind the rear edge of the carbon side frame and passing over the right boom support, that way they are both outside the actual frame.

thats how mine on my sport is one straight back and one out the side. i think my blinking light was a minor glitch sense it hasn't happened sense!. flying today I'll let you guys know if i have any receiver gyro issues

Random 6110e cyclic servo twitching here also, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt. I wish they still sold the 6100e, no troubles with any of mine

I'm the other pilot CDFrog refers to in his post. I have reproducible problems with my setup, but cannot say definitively yet that it is the receiver. I can reproduce it on the ground. I spool up to 100% flat throttle, just a little above mid-stick and then start giving it rudder back and forth and eventually I get it to glitch. Red light on gyro goes on momentarily and the AR6110E blinks.

I have a Dimension Engineering SportBEC on its way to rule out the BEC from the ESC. I tried a CC 10A BEC (the blue one) and my servos chatter constantly with it, even though it was brand new. CC is sending me a replacement BEC. So if it is indeed losing enough voltage to brown out, then it must be the BEC and the new BEC should rule this out. If it still glitches with the new BEC, then I have to conclude it is the receiver.
