I think it's 10s. I'm hoping we can get some official pictures up or some details..... Charley?

10S 3700 brick
It is only a concept machine, I can say that Charley was pleased with its performance in Orlando

Clyde,
If Charley releases this will it be a conversion kit or a kit all of its own? Is he even considering making this available, or is the 90 in front of this? I'll be happy either way, but I really hope he makes the Fusion available. I have been following the Avant forums recently and I just wanted to say that I think Charley and the gang really handle the "process" of releasing a model really well. I know I was a little upset when the initial release got pushed back, but I had no idea what the norm was for these things. Outrage seems to be setting a great standard. (that doesn't really belong here, but while I was typing somewhere that I knew you would read, I added it) |

Fusion will be released as a kit first. The current one is a concept model and is subject to some changes hence why very little info and pictures are posted. After it goes to prototype stage we will post more.
Tests performed in Orlando, proved very well and I am extremely happy! Note Orlando was this helis first flights, this heli never flew before its actual first flight was on Thursday. We flew many flights on what I would consider an extremely powerful system and this heli took it.... so far it will only required minimal changes before going to prototype. Specs are as follows This heli featured Velocity CNC flybared head and tail system with TT drive Fiberglass painted canopy 10S 3700 25c Brick Scorpion 4025 630 15t on 140t 550 main gear CC HV85 CC BEC JR 8417 Servos JR 8900G Tail Spartan Quark Gyro Spektrum 7600 RX SWE 630 Blades 95mm tail Blades AUW: 3645 gram

I'm betting it could be ran on 8s swinging 600 blades too.

Ya I bet with a 4025-890 or something in that range it would be a good 8s setup.
Would be nice to get a 90 nitro first.

Jeremy, it's only concept right now, Charley has a few things he wants to tweak and then a few team pilots will get a prototype.
keep checking back here for updates ![]()

Does this put the release before or after the 90? Or...are the projects completely independent?

No the Fusion is a MUCH Smaller Heli in size the velocity canopy is far to big
Jeremy, No ETA is set yet but it will not be to long as 70% of this heli is using tested and proven parts (velocity and 550) Kazager The Velocity 90 is 85% complete in a concept model. Most all of its injection moulds are complete. My hopes are to test fly it mid to end of january and we are planning for an early spring release. I live behind a computer so I am always working on something

Damn Charley! What are you doing to us! Another heli that will have to be added to my 100% Outrage fleet. Have some servo set aside for the 90 and now will have to have a Fusion. Knew I shouldn't have sold my HV85 yesterday! I'm already an Outrageaholic, now you've feed the addiction again! Keep up the great work. Now get back to designing!

Heres a little sneak peak video of the concept model at the Orlando event last week. I'm very happy with it now, so with some final tweaking by Charlie everyone will be extremely happy with it.
