Default Removing Tail blades rocker

I cannot figure out how to remove the tail blades rocker from the tail gear assembly.
It is secured by a pin and i am trying to push that pin upwards with a small needle from the underside but that does not work.

Any ideas?

The pin is tapered try the other end.
