Default Wooden blades dont fit?

Hey everyone,

I've bought a couple of sets of the Align 325 pro wooden blades for my Trex 450 pro, BUT they dont fit in the blade holders. Those plastic black pieces on the blade (unsure what to call them) make the blade too thick to fit in the holders.

Is it safe to take these off? I assume they are there for a reason, so I'm not sure what to do. Especially since I had a used pair of wooden blades eject on the maiden flight. Not alot of damage, only a bent main shaft, but luckily I had spares.

Thanks!

Don't take those off...if it is just a little tight try sanding them down just a touch.
