Hello , i just ordered them and i want to ask if there is a video or a thread about setup all this together. Is it easy to do it ? because i'm only three months in electric helis and i love my trex 500.All my other helis just stay in the ground.

finless has a CC85 hv vid were he goes through setup with the castle link. That should help out a little.

No problem, where do you plan on mounting your esc? I have my esc mounted infront of the motor on my 450, but I want to build the 500 with the esc on the side. Every time I see a team align heli they have the speed controller mounted on the side of all of their helis. So ima try that this go round..

i have the esc in the side but i don't know about the scorpion wires if are ok. Does anyone have the same combo to give me a list with the setup?

I have my esc on the right side and the wires ruuning from the motor down the inside middle of the frame and out the hole near the back on the right and plugging into my esc.

The 6s 30C 2650 turnigy is a popular reliable option. Hyperions of the same or slightly larger are also nice. You can fit up to a 3200 I believe but you start getting nose heavy over 3000mah.

Until now i fly with 3000 20c & 3000 30c turnigy and i am very pleased i'll hope that's ok with my new set up.

Hi guys, i want to ask you about setting rpm in gov mode. I put 6cell =22.2v , 15t pinion 162 main gear ,1400kv - 10 poles and the ice75 tells me that my headspeed for proper governing is 2460. how can i put 2750 headspeed ? can i change the number in volts or something else?

The CC software is conservative in it's HS calculations, but you do need to take their recommendations into consideration, as the controller will govern the HS at a constant down to 3.7V per cell. So that means constant HS from a freshly charged battery all the way down to discharged voltage under load.

I run the same setup and use 2600 rpm and it works perfectly with only a few 100% throttle hits towards the end of the flight.

Be warned hard on batteries so make sure you have at least 35 to 40C packs, otherwise your packs will last only about 40 cycles.
