A bit of a heli newbie here, and I'm having trouble getting my gyro to stop hunting with the tail. I have adjusted gain, tried adjusting the throw (travel adjust on my Spektrum DX6) and I can't seem to get the tail to stay straight. As of now, it's fairly calm, but occasionally, it just jumps left a few inches. I am flying a honeybee king 2 with a brushless motor, and I have a Telebee Heading Hold Gyro. I have the flight mode switched to stunt (or idle up) and it goes to HH at that time (at least I think it does). I have the positive and negative rates set at -75 for rate mode and +100 (any less it seems to drift) for heading hold mode (I think - or maybe it's the other way around). Also, when I plug the battery in, and the gyro places the tail servo, does it have to be in HH mode?
Any suggestions? Spark |
