Default New X-Cell Spectra-G gas model

Here are a few pictures of the new gas model. It is the X-Cell Spectra-G 3-D. For those of us waiting on the "Fury Gas" , it is instead the new Spectra line of X-Cell helicopters.

The pictures show the model before a canopy paint job. It is running the Zenoah G-231 and the Hatori pipe prototype. It has been test "hopped" and does VERY well. Flights will resume as soon as the monsoon stops   Look for it soon at an event near you!
BTW- The red velcro behind the gyro on top is what I intend to use to keep the gyro intact. I learn my lessons!

John,

Really looks nice.

Are you going to bring it to IRCHA?

John,
Is this still a "prototype"?
The reason I ask is the black anodized head block and old style Fury swash.
Along with what appears to be the closed tailbox when I thought the new kits were going to have the open tailbox.
Not picking as everything there is fine, but just wondering if the kit is changing or if you are still flying a pre-production unit.

Looking forward to this ship for sure. I want to be 100% out of the nitro business by next season.

John's Spectra was converted from one of his other models. Some of the anodizing colors have changed since then.

At the moment, the production parts to make another open t/r gearbox haven't come in. The model shown on minatureaircrafusa.com will be at the jamboree along with other models from the shop.

Pricing has not been set as of yet. The final parts list is being finalized and pricing will follow.

no, there's not a specific day that its going to start shipping yet. Tim has the price, I just need to get it from him and get it posted.

They are taking pre-orders and have quite a few already backordered.

Should be a couple flying at the Jamboree next week and I'd expect it to not be too long after that although the Jamboree always backs things up.

Anyone know where to get a Hatori 942/943 muffler from?

Or when X-Cell will be selling that muffler?

Most likely Hatori USA will have the muffler.
