Default Bill Ricard of Billís Hobby Barn in Salem, NH passed away

It is with deep sorrow that I regret to announce Bill Ricard of Billís Hobby Barn in Salem, NH passed away last night. There will be a wake this Friday 4/2 at the Dewhirst and Conte Funeral Home in North Andover, MA from 4-8pm.

William E. Rickard
HAMPTON, NH ó William E. Rickard, 63, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Elliot Hospital. Born in Lawrence and raised in Methuen, MA, he was the son of the late Edmund and M. Lorraine (Couture) Rickard. Mr. Rickard attended Lowell University and worked as an engineer at Raytheon. Bill also owned Billís Hobby Barn in Salem, NH where he served the public for many years. Bill was an instructor and member of the Salem Barnstormers R/C flying club. Bill loved traveling, the ocean, and spending time with his family at Hampton Beach, NH. The former spouse of Patricia Rickard, he leaves three daughters, Lynne Schaufenbil and her partner, Richard Bouchard of Pepperell, MA; Kim Jeanty of Londonerry, NH; and Erin Major and her husband, Eric, of Salem, NH; and six grandchildren: Ricky, Amanda, Alexis, AJ, Tyler and Haley. He is also survived by his uncle Charles Couture of Kingston, NH and many cousins. ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend calling hours from 4-8 pm on Friday, April 2 at Conte Funeral Home, 17 3rd St., N. Andover, MA Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 3, at 9 a.m. in St. Josephís Parish, Salem NH followed by burial at Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society http://www.cancer.org/aspx/Donation.
