I am in agreement.

Our Aussie friends, as I was taught as a boy at my grandfather's knee (a wwII veteran), "are stout hearted men of good character and can be counted upon to do the right thing".

Was I horribly mislead? Do I need to visit my grandfathers grave to inform him that the Australian men of today are not cut from the same cloth as their grandfathers?

How sad.

Whoa! We should tread very carefully here. This very long thread seems to point to a problem with an isolated individual. We should take care not to paint with too broad a stroke...

Exactly! This is actually the first guy I have ever seen on the boards from AUS who is not honest. Every other person I know from AUS is stand up!!

This is nuts.

John (Mercuriell) has offered a very simple solution. All the guy has to do is send an Australia Post money order, even via regular mail, to one of us here in Oz and once it clears, the cash can be transfered to DSJ via Paypal. The whole process should take no more than a few days.

There's simply no excuse for the stalling and whining.

I started a thread about this guy on our local heli forum in late October and got some response from folks who claimed to know him and a couple who also had unresolved transactions. I will see if we can get an update. ( http://www.archeli.com.au/phpBB2/vie...?p=90546#90546 )

Hi to all,
As kgfly stated it si a very simple solution if people are honest, my paypal payment was sent on September the 8th, 2006 that is over 3 months ago now, i can't believe that in 3 months which is a very long time Killar has not been able to find a way to resolve this problem, knowing that there are many ways to do so.

I received a somewhat abusive response which claims that the completed canopy has indeed been mailed. Perhaps that is what was refered to in his email to you ?

If it was sent airmail then to the US can take anywhere from four days to two weeks (unbelievable I know) but I don't know about Brazil, so maybe longer, especially at this time of year.

If it was sent by surface mail then it can easily be 12 to 15 weeks.

Hi to All,
Just to let you know that i did not get the refund which i wanted but at least today i got the canopy which i will be auctioning on e-bay because i no longer have my t-rex 600 so i do not need the canopy anymore, there you have a canopy already painted wich you won´t have to wait over 3 months to get painted, this will be a 3 day auction starting today, if you want this one fast this is the time to get it.
I will also like to thank Helifreak and all the good people out there that post there opinions on this very long treath to bring this to an end.
Helifreak and his members have to be one of the best forums on the net.
