I have spoken to Heli World about a concern I had that my CC info may have been compromised during a transaction I made with them.
I am more than confident that everything at Heli World was done correctly and the issue did not originate at their location. I would caution everybody to excercise caution when using your CC. Thanks Heli World!!! Last edited by Limitlss; 04-30-2010 at 05:09 PM.. Reason: Re worded |

Wow, that sucks. Thanks for the heads up. Chances are that the woman you spoke with did not even work for HeliWorld. They were probably hacked and your order info stolen.

Yah, I'm not accusing Heliworld of any wrong doing. They are a very reputible company and do many transactions a day.
I guess my point is, if anyone calls you looking for your CC number, be very careful. I'll do business there again but will not be giving anyone my info over the phone. Good thing Visa takes care of this for me. Pain waiting for a new card now and changing all my pre-authorized stuff. |
