I have a friend who runs futaba. He wants to run straight 2s lipo but afaik the Futaba Rx's aren't rated for 8.4v, and some failures have been reported. I don't want him to taco a model due to that choice. He's got his heart set on it though for some reason, I dunno.
I'm a JR/Spektrum guy so not that framiliar with the in/out's of Futaba. thx

None of them are rated for 8V except for the upcoming S-Bus 6107SP and 6007SP (not available in the US yet).

the 6106hfc has a power requirement of 3.3V~ 8.5 V & is availible i have one
