NRG Batteries...

Just wondering if there is any major differences in these two NRG batteries except the 860 would provide what...25 seconds more of flight time if that? Thanks.

is one preferred over the other, and why? I have four of the 800s already. Should I switch to the 860 or get the hyperion here.

The Hyperion is a very tight fit.

Don't have it, but do have the larger align canopy. I didn't think the Fusuno was any bigger than the Align.

I've got the first version with, what they us to call, the lightning bolt canopy which was much larger than the origanal one. I think the SE is the same size as the lighting bolt one I have.

the se canopy is smaller then the lightning bolt canopy. I have the v1 ro lightning bolt canopy and the hyperions fit fine. my flying buddy has the SE and the hyperions and very tight but do fit

I have a fusano canopy and the hyperion 850 and it fits fine. My canopy came already drilled and I didn't have to re-drill it.

when did you get your canopy? I had to drill mine out.. the hyperions have no problem fitting under the new shape fusuno canopy.

nrg 860 mah's are the best battery for this heli in my opinion, the only battery i will use!

I got the canopy about a year ago from helidirect.

They look to be in stock but it looks like they are moving the store, though, and will be closed to June 16th. If that's not a problem for you I have no complaints about the NRG's that I bought from there.

I use both Outrage and Hyperions.

I used heli direct for the NRG's

My LHS sells the Hyperions I use so that is local.

The Hyperions are a tight fit in a stock SE canopy, I moved my canopy mounts forwrd 7mm to make it a better fit. The NRG's are shorter so those would not require the mod to the mounts.

I prefer the NRG's for fitment and ability to tweak the CG. Otherwise they have the same characteristics, i.e. Flight time, charge rate and, basically, capacity (10mah diff) Price point is the same from what I have seen, or a $1 diff at most.
