Wow, great flying by Mr. Jenkins! I hate to follow that with my geriatric 3d, but I got a rare opportunity to get a flight recorded both by my hat cam as well as the GoPro on my friend Salomon's quad. I had a little trouble flying close enough to him in the 20mph winds that day.

I probably should have put some music with the video, but by the time I finished combining the videos I was out of energy. For the first part of the video I tried to match up the clips reasonably closely, but by the end I just put the parts in from both videos that I liked watching. Who knew editing video was so much work?

Default Maiden night flight

Here's my maiden night flight. Still looking for a set of night blades (main/tail) to round it out, but easy enough to fly without them....would look a lot cooler with them, though,
It's not easy getting the camera angle right in the dark, so sorry if some of it is off screen. And one more disclaimer....the lens on my phone must have been dirty, sorry for all the "auras" around the lights.
Either way it is what it is..a successful night maiden. WOOT!
The end of the video gives a better close up look of the lights themselves.

Very nice! I don't think I could fly without being able to see the disk.

I should take up making night blades as a hobby. Perfectregulators has a kit that fits 550 sized blades and I don't think I could beat their price.

Damn, I don't know who's more crazy - you flying without illuminated blades, or me flying without an illuminated airframe. Ha!

Nice flying - glad to see your night bird!
