Question 401 ?

i recently emailed futaba about my gyro, whats happening is after about 2 to 3 mins of hover about 3ft off the ground the nose will drift left i have moved the servo with minimal results, futaba says it vibes,so went through the whole heli changed everything that seems like was sloppy, also bought the metal plate and installed it between the tape, still have the problem, also noticed when flying after i land that the gyro light is blinking but it did initialize prior to flight, should i send it back to see if its bad it has not been crashed, and i can only really hover at the moment.soory so long but just not sure what to do.any suggestions or comments.

So it initialized correctly, but when you land it's blinking,
meaning the gyro is recieving a yaw request...from the TX
It could actually be a dirty pot on your rudder stick in the TX
This would explain the drift
You may be able to check this by watching the channel display on the TX

Another possible cause of this problem is using the wrong expo
On the JR TX you need to use + expo
On the Futaba TX you need to use - expo
If you setup the expo the wrong way around the rudder stick becomes ultra sensitive even to wind
This results in a yaw request being sent to the model when you're not even touching the stick

And make sure to have a soft loop on the wires, since they can transfer the vibrations too.
