PIRO TROUBLE

After installing a new Futaba S9257 servo in my blade 400 with a clone 401 gyro. The Heli was good in rate and HH mode. It made a noise and piro-ed on the ground. I checked the belt tension. It sounded like it slipped. It was ok. I then hovered for about 3 min. Then it went into a piro and I dumped it into the ground.
Everything is working now and the belt is ok. I can find nothing wrong. Any ideas what it might be.
ps didn't hear the noise the second time.

some what a nube I have flown a Kavan Jetranger 20 yrs. ago and a heilboy

I have a real gy401 coming

Hopefully one of the admins will move this thread, but it sounds like your gyro.

I rebuilt the heli and took a gy240 off a old trex I got on ebay and installed it.
With one battery it is still flying OK.

Come to think of it it was waging befor this with the old servo and no settings were changed--Sure sounds like the gyro.
