Default Tip for getting 0 degrees pitch

This is an update on a tip that Finless Bob gives in one of his videos - to get 0 degrees on a CNC head stick an appropriate diameter hex-driver between the head block and grip arm, it must be a very good tight fit.

Even works on the plastic heads (different size hex driver)

Hey Mike, here is another little tip to "check" for 0 pitch without a gauge.( Sorry, no piccie)

Rotate one main blade 90 degrees in the grip, then rotate the other blade 90 in the opposite direction in the grip. The main blades should be perfectly horizontal from tip to tip. If there is any pitch at all in either blade, they will not be straight across.

Yeah - I use that as well - the only challenge is that you sometimes get blade droop

Perhaps this is only with older woodies

That hex wrench method works great. The plastic tail pitch links (forks) also fit perfectly in the seesaw.

I also use Ray Stacys method; hang the heli vertical, and fold the blades back. When they hang parallel to the boom and each other you have 0°. Since the grips/links are not supporting the blades, any head slop will not affect the result.
