One thing I never see much about. What parts of the SR need to be lubricated, and with what? How often?

Many opinions there. I use WD-40, old 3in1, and lithium grease. Grease for all the ball links, 3in1 on the tail motor bushing every 5 flights or so and a tiny spray of WD-40 on the pinion gear and main and grip bearings when ever I have things apart for a fix.

Silicone spray on the swash ball. WD-40 works too.
