I have read alot of posts about the phasing ring sliping / turning on the main mask causing all sorts of problems.
I have just picked up my new EVO 50 kit and there is a separate sheet attached to the instructions showing extra grub screws / bolts on the phasing ring which I believe is Hirobo's fix to the above problem. Can anyone tell me if the fix has been successful or should I still consider getting the metal version of the ring? Any feedback is appreciated. Glenn |

The plastic one works fine. I used them for a long time before I upgrade to the metal on all 5 of the evo's I had. Don't overtighten them and strip the plastic though. Also adding a bit of green locktite to it will add a bit of extra insurance.
