Hey all. Does anybody have a replacement battery upgrade recommendation? Something with a little higher amp, weight, and price improvement that will still fit under the canopy and where I can purchase them. Thanks.
Doug

These are the ones I am using. They work great and the slight weight difference makes the heli balance perfectly. I just had to replace the connectors.

There's a "Thunder Power Prolite" 1350mah that pretty lightweight. According to this review http://www.rchelicopterfun.com/blade-sr.html , the heavier the battery the more the rotor torque and so the more the tail motor works, so there might be tail issue tradeoffs if someone gets themselves a crazy heavy 2200mah battery. Might be more of an issue for hovering than flying about, but I've tended to go for lighter batteries.

Hyperion is my reccomendation. They just released a new 45C battery that's very competitively priced..

Thanks for the replies everybody. Do these different packs require soldering, or are they crimp connections? It seems like none of these have the JST connectors.
Oh never mind, I see the Turnigy comes with the JST connections.

Almost all of the performance batteries will not come with any connectors on the power leads.. they are left for you to solder on, depending on what your setup is using. I suggest converting your SR/charger setup over to the dean's ultra plug.
