Hello,
Not sure if the T500 tool works. What helped me a lot was the video's by Finless Bob on this topic. (Build video's for Hurricane 550 include leveling swash etc.)

Helidirect has a swash level tool which fits the Gaui. The 550 and 425 use the same swash plate and main shaft.

I followed the link and they are out of stock. I went to download the manual to see the specs and when you click download you get a very nice message.

I've ordered from these guys before no problems so I'm guessing disgruntled employee.

That is brilliant.
A zip tie around the main shaft and a bit of tape! - Don't need to take the head off - Rotate the head to check each 'pillar'. - Does not matter if the zip tie is not exactly at 90 degrees 'cos as the main shaft rotates (with the head) it "keeps it's position" so the end with the tape is a 'level'. Gonna recheck my 550 and FBL 425 later.. I did both tf them using the mk 1 eyeball. |

Thats a neat idea jack. I can usually do it by eye pretty well but if there is a tool available I use it. I ordered it the other day. When I setup the heli I like to have things spot on. I wish I could say the same about my flying.
