I am setting up my stinger with a hyper 50.
What head speed are you running. My stinger has the plastic grips and block. Is there a max HS I can run before I have to switch to the metal head? thanks

I'm running around 2000- all stock parts - with no problems. I dont see any need to go any higher as it performes well at that head speed.

2K will be fine structurally.
In hard maneuvers you will notice that the plastic grips do flex a little at that speed. I would absolutely NOT exceed 2K with the plastic grips.
