Hey Guys,
So as I was throttling down after landing last night and I applied right rudder to do a ground piro. I accidentally struck the tail into a wooden chair leg. Throttle was at full down when it hit. The tail blades got pushed in and everything slowly stopped. I checked for damage and everything seemed to be just fine. Just straightend the tail blades.... If only I got off that easy. Now when I spool up I can hear a different high pitched noise than I have heard before. Everything seems fine. The belt looks like it could use tightening but that's about it. (speaking of which, how do I do this?) Also, Once I get it flying I get a bit of tail "wag" or vibration. I thought maybe it was the gyro setting so I turned that way down and it still does the same thing. This was not happening before. I even went back and watched the video of my first flight and sure enough it DID NOT have the same problem then. Got any idea what might be going on? Could it be a bearing in the tail? Could it just be the drive belt being too loose? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Eric James http://www.expertmagic.com/

Make sure your tail is straight with the body of the heli, sometimes the tail tends to move a bit making an angle wich could cause a slight vibration, make sure the belt is tight but not too tight...Should be able to almost pinch the belt together.

Went ahead and tightened the belt. This solve 99% of the issue. I think the rest is just servo/gyro tuning.
Thanks, Eric James http://www.expertmagic.com/
